The angle sensor WST measures the angle of one part of the boom in relation to another or to the base line. Main application is angle measuring on excavators and loading machines.

The mechanical connection to the boom arm is made by a supplied, application specific driver bow. The angle sensor is, as standard, designed for left-hand mounting, but can be converted for right-hand mounting. To ensure efficient operation in rough conditions, the sensor is installed into a rugged aluminium housing.

As a special advantage to pendulum type angle sensors, this lever driven angle sensor follows the boom movements of fast machines immediately.

The PRS angle sensor is a wide angle, single axis inclinometer incorporating a hermetically sealed ceramic sensor and hybrid circuitry into a rugged aluminum enclosure.

 

The sensor is fully electronic and contains no mechanical moving parts.
